I would like to speak with professionals who have experience with healthcare contract management groups (CMGs), also know as Physician Practice Management Organizations (PPMOs). In particular, I would like to learn how contract management groups are structured, the types of relationships they engage in with health systems, and what metrics are in place for provider quality and accountability. In addition, I would like to understand the overall business model for these organizations, including the types of positions they staff, the quality standards used, health systems integration, and the potential for working with pharmaceutical companies.
