It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Maven Blog! We will use this format to provide updates on our business, notes on interesting new features and developments, and tips on how to improve your experience with Maven, both as a member (“Maven”) and as a knowledge seeker (“Client”). Transparency rules at Maven; we make every effort to provide as much information as possible about how this works, how you can profit from using Maven, and our plans for the future. This blog will help us to continue to improve that transparency so you can be comfortable with and knowledgeable about our platform.

Maven’s proprietary “micro-consulting” platform allows  its members (“Mavens”) to profit from their knowledge by participating in paid interactions with researchers, including short Telephone Consultations and Electronic Surveys.

Maven launched in mid-2009 and is currently growing at a phenomenal rate. How fast? In January alone, our global network grew by nearly 50%, our Client base grew by 50%, the number of paid Consultations grew by 50%, and total payments to Mavens grew by 50%!  Mavens include professionals of all backgrounds and functional roles.
