FAQ: What kinds of things are Maven’s Clients asking about?

Mavens frequently ask us what kinds of topics our Clients are interested in. This is actually a pretty difficult question for us since the real answer is “everything imaginable.” Moreover, because we protect our Clients’ privacy and confidential information, it is tough for us to share specifics about current inquiries with people who weren’t directly invited to participate in them.

Still, we’d like to share a few examples of recent inquiries to give a flavor of the wide variety of topics our Client are using Maven to explore. From time to time we’ll post more of these.

IPTV- The Client would like to learn more about Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) technology with a particular emphasis on content management and digital rights management issues.

Small Business Printing– The Client would like to speak with Mavens who have used small business printing services, such as Vistaprint, to better understand who uses them and how.

Nuts- That’s right, nuts. Snack nuts, to be exact. The Client would like to learn more about how nuts are marketed and how grocery store planners buy nuts and decide where to put them in the store.

Graphics Chips (GPU’s)– The Client would like a short technical overview of the Nvidia Fermi GPU architecture.

Photodynamic Therapy– Are you a dermatologist? Are you familiar with the use of photodynamic therapy to treat skin cancer? If so, a Maven Client might want to talk to you.
