A leading pharmaceutical company wanted to create an advisory panel of practicing oncologists to help them better understand the process of selecting, prescribing, and purchasing oncology drugs. In addition to ongoing advisory support, the company needed the team of oncologists to visit their headquarters for a day of in-person presentations and discussions.

The Solution
Maven identified several potential candidates, from whom the customer selected a handful for screening Telephone Consultations. After interviewing the candidates, the customer selected four individuals, including two university professors of oncology, one practicing surgical oncologist, and another practicing medical oncologist, to visit their facility and participate in the panel. The total turnaround time from initial inquiry to the event at the customer’s facility was less than five days. Maven handled all logistics so the customer and presenters could focus on the content for the event, and Maven continues to manage the contractual and financial arrangements between the physicians and the company.
