Organizational Structure of Engineering Departments
Description:
I would like to understand the organizational structure(s) of engineering departments within Fortune 500 retailers, OEM, or NPD companies. In particular, I would like to understand how the organization has structured their engineering departments staff to meet their business needs (e.g. flat, position hierarchy, layers, etc). The ideal candidate will be able to share their perspective on organization design and structure as well as the perceived pros and cons of different structures.
